You talk absolute s***Grealish was a player unused for a very long time and they weren't.
Moyes didn't protect our best player.
Fact.

Yes hopefully but it's still something to considerIt's a foot, though, not a knee or a hamstring. He'll come back fine.
Whilst you are actually right about stress facture injuries (I have a bit of knowledge on this subject), the odds of it happening to Grealish are the same as every other player due to the amount they train and play. In fact it's more likely a younger player will get stress fractures particularly in backs due to still growing physically. In this case, this is purely bad luck Dave.
I was arguing for weeks that we'd played him too much. Stress fractures like this will occur when players have their bodies pushed beyond what's possible. Grealish hadn't played much competitive football and now he's paying the price for the workload pushed on him.

Then we'll play players until they get injuries that keep them out for months.last time we rested players against wolves they beat us
might be their last win too
We don't have the luxury of resting players atm and we don't have europe either so it shouldn't be an issue
Not a great strategy. It's why we have a squad: rotation. Maybe someone should tell Moyes?

I think he's a bit cream crackered now, tbh.
Obviously he's always going to be chosen but ideally you rest him up for a game or two over Christmas.
Cant see that happening now though.
Jack has only started 3 of the last 6 games. He hasn't been overused recently.Grealish was a player unused for a very long time and they weren't.

With the flu. Not knackered. The flu. Getting a stress fracture isn't increased from a runny nose Dave.No such thing as an accident here: he was knackered prior to the Christmas period and had to take two games out.
Any decent manager puts him on light training away from the ball and makes sure he's not playing every game.
There's a reason for that...and the reason was that he's feeling all those games he hasn't been used to.Jack has only started 3 of the last 6 games. He hasn't been overused recently.

But we are realistically better with himWe are statistically better without him.
But they don’t. He’s a premier football player that’s fit as f***. Other players are playing twice a week so I don’t know where you’re getting other managers rest players from. He’s playing once a week and if he didn’t want to, or if he was feeling any pain or injuries he would say he didn’t want to play.No such thing as an accident here: he was knackered prior to the Christmas period and had to take two games out.

I forgot that Benitez pragmatism was the missing piece underpinning his Martinez-Dyche tactical blend! You talk absolute s***
Fact.
What are you actually on about? At least blame the medical science people who are in charge of recovery and injury prevention. If they had any indication that a player is suffering from burn out or an increased risk of injury, it is their responsibility to make sure it's managed correctly.Let's just say that if Moyes listened we wouldn't be here now with our most influential player out for the rest of the season.
Any decent manager rests up a player in Grealish's circumstances, not work them until they get an injury.
Mark another one up to Sgt Maj. Moyes and his cackhanded management skills.
