2025/26 Jack Grealish

Weirdos the Villa fans. Showed their colours when the still fawned over him whenever the played against him with City. Rolling over and letting what they perceived as a big club tickle their belly. Now they have the hump he's with a team they perceive as on their level. Small club behaviour

They’ve only just come back up from the championship - short memories in kipper tie land.

Come on, let's talk about our super manager going away and beating the 2nd placed team in the league.

What a manager.

Why were the Villa fans booing him? Thought they liked him?

….because he once left them.

Same at HD. ‘You’re not super anymore’

Weird. Got them 100m and promotion.
Its why I call them the Kopites of the Midlands.

See it through that lens and it makes sense.

Great this

Remember being at a CL game in Parkhead vs Anderlecht who were pretty decent at the time, Kompany was playing for them.

The Anderlecht fans were the tier above us and one lad siting by us -absolute headbanger did nothing all game but shout abuse at the Anderlecht fans for 90 + mins.

At the end of the game I said to him “Larsson was amazing” he responded what was the “final score”.

At that point I realised people go to football for other reasons then actually watching the sport.

Some fans are unfortunately just vile.

I didn’t pay much attention to Grealish when he was at City and didn’t really know what we were getting when we signed him. While he does chip in with goals and assists, I think his main contribution is world class hold up play. The opposition simply cannot dispossess him and usually end up giving away a free kick. Apparently he is the most fouled player in the league this season. This is obviously an amazing asset when playing away, but is perhaps less useful at home. Could be one of the reasons we look so much better when playing away this season? Just a thought.
