2025/26 Jack Grealish

I do wonder why the moderators allow it to continue. It might look like it generates content but it puts other people off using the forum.
Maybe people react but don't report, I know I've never reported anyone as much as a poster can get to me.

He gets reactions out of me that doesn't happen in real life, and that's what gets me the most. but for some reason I've never hit that button.

It's not a great look for us as a club looking for a new start if we're prepared to throw a lot of money at Grealish now.

He's been great for us but we cant be seen as the destination for fading stars as we once were.

New era now.

No. I was calling for a rest period for the last 5 weeks or so.

I repeat: I'm not being wise after the event. I posted a lot of times on the need for Grealish to be handed a rest and it's been proven 100% to have been the correct analysis - he SHOULD have been. Moyes continued to play him and play him and play him.
And he had a choice? We were down to the bare bones with African cup. Injuries snd suspensions

You’re spouting nonsense mate.

I’m critical of Moyes on a number of issues, but suggesting that he should have rested Jack and that playing him has somehow caused this injury is just codswallop.

Its a big loss, but we do have players coming back and need to give Dibling some game time.

Would LOVE to say we will push for European places but even with Grealish, I feel we are way to inconsistent to maintain a run of form to push that.

We wont go down, and have said all season we are bang average.....and 10th is where we will be.

Planning for next season is or should be going on, and this injury may just allow us to push for another loan next season rather than push for a perm deal.

Do you in anyway resemble Donald Trump?
I'm starting to read your posts in a Trump voice. It would be mental if you actually looked like him.

The quality Grealish offers isn’t available - that is, free of the age or injury prone factors - for any fee we’re currently able / willing to pay. At least, at this stage in our resurrection.

He’s currently the only way we get that sort of quality in our team. Is that worth more at the moment than getting a younger, nippier, left-sided player? For now, I think yes. I accept we do need pace, but of all the players investment in pace should come at the expense of, Grealish is not the one.

Those who would say he’d be a poor of funds next season do, IMHO, know the cost of everything but the value of nothing.
Some may see the benefit in giving Aznou (as that younger, nippier, left sided player) some game time in certain home games, whether Moyesie is one of those we’ll wait and see - he’ll certainly stick with McNeil when he’s looking to keep it “safer” away from Hill Dickinson!
