2025/26 Jack Grealish

quite a few times in the first half we turned over possession with a chance to break and nothing was on, or armstrong just couldnt get the ball moving up the pitch quickly enough

really missed him in those situations and when we were putting united under pressure in the second half

i think he could have really turned the screw tonight

the injury is really unfortunate

Annoyed.

fernandes threw a foul in first half, I think against Tim Iroegbunam and we got a FK. He instantly started moaning to that prick england about how it was him fouled (it clearly wasn't) and this had been a pattern of grief doled out by the man utd captain throughout the game.
So in the final ten minutes, and on a booking, he lashed out and hacked down Garner. england just carried on.

So why is this in the Grealish thread? Because he's absorbed so much punishment he's ended up with a fracture.

If refs are going to let our players get injured for the season we'll be in trouble sooner or later. Imagine it was gordon for the lampard miracle. Or Doucoure for dyche. Or Beto 12 months ago. We can't afford to so easily allow our better players to be wiped out.
Where is the steel? We've always had a player or two that were quite prepared to kick back. When referee's purposefully let us down, we need a player prepared to do some damage. Shaw threw himself over repeatedly last night, england bought it every time. Ours get fouled and it's play on.

Rubbish! Go and earn a red card, not for happy slapping or comedy clapping, fernandes needed booting into the stands.

There's more honour going out fighting than cringing and whimpering.

Lots of guesswork here
Well, jack wont sign without knowing Moyes is here, any other manager and he will possibly be in the same situation as at city.

Why would we sign him long term if we're are thinking of replacing Moyes with a different kind of approach..

A loan suits both parties, both him and Moyes contracts ending at the same time..

Yeah it's guesswork, but I think it looks pretty realistic..

Who knows if a new manager comes in and whether Grealish is somebody he'd want? Who knows if Grealish is only interested in playing for Moyes or not? Who knows if another club comes in for Grealish and we can't or won't match their offer?
