2025/26 Jack Grealish

I think the injury is a real shame because it does make sense to go for a younger, pacier alternative in the summer now

But whoever we sign, they’d likely be a level below Grealish in terms of technical ability, he’s an elite player and since the 80s we’ve only had Kanchelskis, James, Rooney and Grealish of that calibre at the club

Had he not got injured and kept up the form we’d probably be looking to keep him plus sign a development winger

Now I feel like if say Fofana was available again and more willing to join a transfer like that may make more sense

If only we had the 20mil for McNeil lined up we could basically sign Grealish for that you would imagine

If West Ham go down, I’d enquire about Somerville, looks like he’s over his injury issues, and is a dangerous player. Same with Fatuwu at Leicester.

Why am I replying to a post including sentences about sponsors and investment using sentences about sponsors?

Not sure, perhaps you can read it and reply to them instead if im not allowed to?
Allowed to ?
You can say what you want mate, it's just a very strange discussion and that goes for whoever started it aswell.

Jack (if signed) is the most marketable asset we have if sponsor's are what we are looking for..

Meh, rather we go for someone with a bit more stardust

I think we need to be realistic with our targets. Going after Champions league level players without a champions league budget/wages or European football to offer will just see us make the same mistakes as last year.

Then we’ll end up desperate and pay over the odds for a player that doesn’t fit, like Dibling.

I'd have Ndaiye in that group too. Hes underrated...maybe if he'd come from City or Real he'd be seen to have that 'calibre'?

If he goes there and is a success then yes but I don’t think he’s of that level just yet
Yeah, its still to be proven somewhat but I wonder how we'd be talking Illy if he was linking with KDH, and a striker taking the chances hes offered, and a striker that is capable of assisting and foiling for him, and instead of hesitating as to how on earth hes going to set up a goal with no lead - how he needs partners in crime and has JOB/JP, Gana and Barry/Beto around him.
Let's hope he stays around for us to find out

I think Ily is brilliant, no doubt, but with the other four you’re looking at players who at their best could have started for any side in the world

I expect we will spend some more than last window
