They were all in the papers ? Rubbish. LCAB posted that Donovan had signed and then about 6 hours later boom, it shows up on the OS.

I'm also not sure what's funny about the Drenthe comment. I'd hardly say that specific details of Drenthe not travelling to matches (Swansea) is the same as saying Neville points a lot, but I'm thinking you know that already.

Being an 'ITK' is not defined by announcing player transfers weeks in advance, it tends to be snippets of info about whether a player is interested or whether a player is left out of the squad.

And who has ever said we've got 10 ITKs ? Nobody, unless I missed that like you missed all of the bang on info LCAB and Fox have posted.

Have people posted that we're signing players out of the blue months in advance ? No, but that's not what you said. You asked when the last time was that somebody had posted spot on info before it was in the papers. The answer was about 5 days ago with Naismith signing on Wedesday, and loads more before that.

Amazed at the people going on the defensive about this very reasonable request!

Nothing ahead of time since 2009, we're making deals this year, so how about this - these so-called "In The Knows", PM Dan, give him a name that's definitely happening in confidence (that isn't Kranjcar) ahead of time, and then if it comes off Dan can publicly acknowledge they're legit.

Because the likes of LCAB/THT haven't had a scoop ahead of time that couldn't be dismissed as "cold reading" and manipulating media reports since they left these boards and set up their own website/Twitter accounts. The same could be said for thebluefox - I'm not saying he's a fraud, I'm just saying there's no concrete proof.

Naismith has been widely reported on since Rangers went into liquidation, reports intensified when he released himself from the newco and the news of him being on the verge of a move this week was online in various sources about five days ago.

That's not proof. If someone is genuinely ITK, put forward a name to the admin in confidence now ahead of time about someone thoroughly not linked so that the admin can legitimately say "Yes, he's ITK" and tell any other fraudster to [Poor language removed] off if required.

You all moan about spurious rumours on here and then moan when the admin tries to do something about it.

I cant see how having this demanding nature is going to be seen as welcoming to any people if they are actually ITK.

Im happy with what lcab has said in particular. He usually steers us down the road of confirming or denying rumors, which turn out to be accurate, and that is good enough for me.

But this isn't about names, or even specifics. I know this forum better than most - and since 2009 (Bily, Heitinga...), we've not had a new thread from an "ITK" in the Everton forum saying anything that isn't already in the papers.

So again. It really is simple. We have about 10 'ITK's - apparently. One, surely, will pipe up with a name, or something, before it's in the usual rags.

Because you're worried that this site has a rep for being ITK that isn't warranted? Better than a rep for blowing any possible transfers by making it public too early.

And for some reason you seem to think that ITK's only reveal info about transfers when in reality they give us plenty more info about other parts of the club.

People have given you plenty of examples of when they believe theyve been right but you seem to be ignoring that and want something new.

There's a Dubious Website policy on this forum which restricts people posting transfer rumours from known awful sources.

There's a general feeling that this website goes downhill during a summer as everyone speculates about massive piles of sh*te all summer long seemingly without restriction.

So if the Admin is simply trying to weed out what is likely to be true from the 99% of manure that gets posted on here, that's fine with me.

And as he's the Admin of a site which gives a massive audience and a massive voice to these people, I think he's perfectly within his right to do so.

So I'm with him entirely - let's see an ITK pull off an LCAB/Bilyaletdinov type of moment and prove they're the real deal. Don't do it public if it's sensitive info, but let the Admin know so he can clean this place up properly.
