"ITK" - "Source" - "Conmen"

And to demonstrate that, all we need is ONE name, one piece of information ahead of time. And by that, I mean before it's in your typical rag.

It's not a big ask is it?

Some might do well to remember that I'd like to have genuine ITK posts on here...

So if they don't name a signing out of the blue they're not an ITK ?

Lol.....

Still waiting for the paper reports saying Drenthe wasn't travelling to Swansea.

Both trying to find something that isn't there.

Again, it's simple.

There's a lot of 'ITK' talk. This thread can be the place that demonstrates just how "ITK" GrandOldTeam is.

I accept the challenge.

Steven Pienaar will remain at Spurs.

Surely got to be a wind up...

Both Danny and Tubey know that being an ITK does not consist of saying we're signing someone weeks before it actually happens

???

Here's the thing - that's precisely what it consists of. Or at least, this is the level of information that these people claim to have. You have people claiming to have known about Naismith a week in advance and saying they were having medicals etc. yet check the date the Naismith thread on this very forum was made - 29th June. Why was that thread created? Because it was all over the media that the move looked like it was on.

Did I find anything from an ITK that said "Yes, the move is definitely happening." No.

What I found was "It's looking good" or "Parties are talking, can't say any more" etc. etc. In short, all I found was ambiguous statements that allowed a way out.

It's called cold reading. I'm not saying they're NOT in the know, I'm just saying I fully understand the Admin turning round and saying "Listen, we give you free reign to say stuff on here without us deleting it, yet we ban rumours from the Daily Mail, a national newspaper. If you genuinely have legit info, let us know in advance so we can confirm you're legit, otherwise GrandOldTeam is saying that it has genuine ITK info when in reality it doesn't, which makes us accidental liars."

You can't expect an Admin of a massive fansite to hang his hat and dictate his forum rules on information that is three years out of date.

Always found LCAB, Fox and THT's info to be sound and much appreciated. Manage to ignore the bollox pretty easily. I agree with people saying ITK info isn't just dropping transfers months or weeks in advance. It just a bit of an insight into what's actually happening with the club, which is great, because the OS is like Pravda.

Anything that means less jarg transfer rumour threads is cool, mind.

I'd certainly think that's got a very good chance of being right.

Do you know I stopped posting on kipper about a month ago because it became quite petty and I thought it was all a big annoying . in fact I mentioned it to Bluefox this morning & I thought this was a bit more 'grown up' on here , ah well.

Tubey.

Stop being selective. Read the naismith thread and you'll find Fox named the day he would be announced is that not sufficient? Surely that exceeds your newly found demanding status as Dans seemingly right hand man?

Did Fox not mention Vic to Wigan when the RS where trying to get Martinez as manager

That was months ago and its only just popped up in the papers this week or last

sheeds i told ye mate keep you info to your self mate best way ,

A player's dad posts on here. I heard he's in the know, not sure how though.

I wasn't joking about the first part of this post. He posted quite a few in the know bits about the team line ups, not sure about signings though, which is what I'm presuming this thread is really about

I would say close the Everton forum over the summer as has been threatened in the past and re-open it a week or two before the opening game, that way we swerve all this sort of stuff.

We're getting wound up over nothing ere lads

Whatever has gone on, whatever has been said, lets swerve it eh and blame twitter, the tories and Chelsea.
