Sure, but equally he has also made a huge play of being the 'Oracula' or whatever. Whether that's said in jest of course it's hard to tell over the web, but it does come across like he's revelling in the attention his being apparently in the know brings him.

That's just the perception I get.

I know how discreet the other two mentioned are & have to but it's slightly different as the club are bound to be careful but for me for me there is lstuff I can't mention (and as i say I'm sure the others are exactly the same ) but their sources are inside the club mine is someone who might hear gossip from others in footy & knowing I'm a blue passes it on. He's often involved in transfers and any deal probably involves maybe 2 , 3 or even 4 agents so it's not hard for the word to get out especially if another deal is dependent on that deal going through?

EDIT- the first thing I ever posted was over Bellamy when he went to Blackburn because the net was full of complete inaccuracies and people were excited about him coming here when I knew without doubt he'd turned us down

I'll be honest i actually much prefer hearing info from within the club that isn't to do with transfers. I'm quite happy to wait until i see them on the OS to know they've signed.

Its other stuff about how guys get on in training, how they feel, how the staff feel about them and all that kind of stuff.

Its nice to get an insight into these things.

Like the info about Jelavic loving the reception at Wembley, you ain't gonna hear that anywhere else other than from a trusted ITK.

All the above in the papers before here. All common sense. Particularly laughing at the last one. Next you'll be telling me Nev points a lot in training...

It's in my interest for this place to be the first place for news - but I'm a realist, and it hasn't been for some time. We used to have names. Actual information. Now, it's just comments on what's already out there.

It really is simple. We have about 10 'ITK's - apparently. One, surely, will pipe up with a name, or something, before it's in the usual rags.

Not so much an ITK as he deals more with the who's going to be refereeing our matches and comments on the reserve/youth games and players, rather than transfers, but I'd still say he contributes a fair amount.

And we don't have 10 ITKs, we have 3 already trusted by a vast majority of your members and 1 guys quickly earning trust.

Everyone else is probably no different to any other football clubs forum, some people passing on info they heard, some people making stuff up. Might be true but is unlikely.
