Israeli defence minister Israel Katz suggested that Spain should accept displaced Palestinians from Gaza.
Katz ordered the army on Thursday to prepare a plan to allow the “voluntary departure” of residents from the Gaza Strip, Israeli media reported. The instruction followed US president Donald Trump’s shock announcement that the United States plans to take over Gaza, resettle the Palestinians living there and transform the territory into the “Riviera of the Middle East”.
Katz added Spain, Ireland and Norway, which last year recognised a Palestinian state, are “legally obligated to allow any Gaza resident to enter their territories”. Katz added “Countries like Spain, Ireland, Norway, and others, which have levelled accusations and false claims against Israel over its actions in Gaza, are legally obligated to allow any Gaza resident to enter their territories,” he said.

Hopefully Ireland do that and it helps Sinn Fein over the line in a few more constituencies to gain outright power....then attack Israel incessantlly on the world stage.

I just try and ignore these Israeli monsters now, tbh.

The whole world knows what that country is and only the US will ever treat them as anything other than a pariah...maybe the UK too, but even here right now there's no room for embracing their toxicity.

I think Republicans are quite happy for Trump to go around saying whatever mad, extreme things he wants so when they do follow or implement slightly less mad but still completely insane policies, they almost appear moderate.

This is what has been happening since 1948.

Palestinians corralled into ever smaller areas of land, as the Israeli state formulates "legal" pretexts for expropriating their remaining land, or just forces them off it with violence.

Israel gave Gaza away to the Palestinians. The Palestinians then elected Hamas into government.

Hamas is a terrorist organisation that wants to kill all Jewish people. Sure there has been difficulties between both concerned parties since 1948, when the Israeli state came under attack within one day of coming into existence!

I think most people can agree that committing the biggest mass killing of Jewish people since the Holocaust, was a serious and major escalation of events on October 7th 2023.

Israel should've just held on to Gaza in the first place. That's the moral of the story i take from this.
