Can we sub something besides water in? For varieties sake?
We have had a couple of people offering differing views over the past couple of pages. I feel that the thread was working out very well in that aspect.
Yet we have people then saying that the current affairs forum here is doomed to fail, and calling for the bouncers to be brought in.
It's not debate some people want i think. They just want an echo chamber where everyone just agrees with each other with no difference of opinion tolerated.

Again for balance, for the second time wjen posting stuff from Shatter, you have failed to mention that Alan Shatter is Jewish with a documented history of anti Palestinian rhetoric. Again for balance, I will state he was a fantastic minister who introduced some of the most important legislation here of the last 25+ years
Yourself included as you are not debating. You are providing "sound bites". You don't reply to nor answer honest questions within the discussion.
It is possible for both sides to be evil or behave in an evil manor. Just as it is possible for neither side to have moral high ground. And I say this with respect to the Hamas and the Israeli government.
So we don't get all 'echo chambery', can davek, peteblue and that sean character be suggested here also? Asking quietly on behalf of the masses.

Well i had an exchange of views with @WA Toffee who i feel is one of the more reasonable people on the pro Palestine argument.
Although he or she has come against the more extremist of the anti Israel posters as well to be fair to them.
When people just throw out things like you are a racist and you are a genocide supporter etc, then i have no respect for people like that and refuse to engage with them.
I feel i already addressed that persons point when i said i want no innocent people anywhere being killed.
I've said that on numerous occasions since last summer at least.

That’s not what his question was. His question was specifically, do you think Israel’s actions are justified with the killing of thousands of civilians?
They have to go after the evil people that are attacking them, but i want no innocent people being killed.
Some people here not all just one or two or three at least, did subtly imply to me that the October 7th 2023 attacks were justified.
This journalist is of the opinion that people had it in for Israel long before the response to the October 7th 2023 attacks.
