This is how the propaganda works.

Hamas fire rockets from a school hiding behind children.
Israel fire rockets back, allowed under International Humanitarian Law dependant on proportionality.
Children die.
Hamas issue statement '17 children die in indiscriminate attack on primary school'
People lap it up, crying 'what about all the dead children' - then point the finger at Israel. It's called 'Lawfare' and it's as old as time. First impressions frame the narrative. Public opinion tends to be influenced more by images depicting the suffering of innocent civilians than by well-thought-out legal arguments.

Of course it's due to bombing hospitals and schools... Because that's where Hamas purposely fire rockets from.

None of this is difficult to understand mate, they're not aiming at children - they're aiming at terrorists hiding behind children, which makes it the fault of the terrorists.

Mate your flogging a dead horse

The Israelis have been on a murderous land grab in the West Bank well before the 7th October. They were also killing journos there too just look at Abu Shareen

Here’s the rub

Hamas don’t run the West Bank so this idea that this sort of behaviour is all in Hamas is just a load of BS.

Like I said western media is a Israeli propaganda tool as the Amsterdam incident proved

The Palestinian Authority runs 39%, meaning Hamas - and what I wrote is fact I'm afraid. Hamas hide behind (complicit) civilians to fire rockets into civilian areas in Israel. This is fact.

Wasn't aware this conversation was just about the West Bank mate, yes it's under illegal occupation - that's also fact.

The rest is a brutal occupation

Thing is these pro Israel types call Hamas every thing under the sun (which is fair enough) but cannot even contemplate the Israelis being in the wrong for a brutal apartheid occupation.

Every one on this site knows that the Israeli created Hamas is a terror organisation but can’t see that Israel is a terror state

I won't doubt that there are individual members or units in the IDF that either specifically target children, or as a minimum tolerate it.

Still, my take on it is that the wider IDF do not specifically target children, yet their 'tolerance' towards collateral damage facilitates more and more children dying.

We're both positive you'd rather live in Tel Aviv, let's not pretend otherwise.

Great question, personally I think they'd rather peace - the declaration from 1948 states as much, I think the main obstacle now is the indoctrination and radicalisation of martyrdom in Palestinian children.

What's your thoughts?

The have destroyed or at least substantially weakened Hamas and Hezbollah and unfortunately innocent people have been killed as well.

I don't see defending your very existence as genocide to be honest with you. Especially when Israeli citizens are still being held hostage by Hamas.

It’s the radical settlers who do not want any compromise and just see an opportunity to take land by forcing the inhabitants off and dehumanising them.

This lot contains racists, islamophobes and a convicted terrorist in the cabinet and no I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near tel aviv
