Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

As you all know I have been pro Israel on here, and sometimes it can take an event to put things in prospective and having seen the events unfold in Amsterdam and the media only showing the aftermath and ignoring the anti Arab chants and taking down and destruction of Palestine flags from the Tel Aviv "fans" I've had time to think about the whole thing and I feel that I may have fallen fallen for propaganda of western media, if the translations on the videos I've seen are accurate then groups of people chanting about children in Gaza shows this is beyond political and there is a hatred within Israeli people. I had been vocal enough on the issue and know a few have put me on ignore because of my opinions, so I wish to apologise to anyone I pissed off, @Prevenger17 (not sure you'll see this) @Noisy noise annoys and anyone else I've gotten involved with.

What I'm taking from this thread is that if I go and eat in an ethnic or nationality themed restaurant the general rule is I then have to support their state's every decision.

I was under the impression it was possible to separate out individuals from the amorphous mass of a nation-state.

GOT isn’t racist. We wont label every Israeli by the actions of Netanyahu.

To try and goad people into a hate response by cosplaying you in a restaurant and quoting a Googled ‘Israeli food’ menu, well it’s just not normal.

"Goading" people is not something I do. Attempting to "goad" me my claiming I "googled" a menu, rather than ate in a fabulous Israeli restaurant is rather pathetically ironic.
