They're a bunch of horrible bastards, but they're not ISIS or Al-Qaeda, which is what matey seemed to be saying.

As for their rancid rhetoric, members of the Israeli government have been making equally racist and genocidal statements about Palestinians for decades.

The leadership of both sides needs to change if there is ever going to be any progress.

I did agree with your characterisation except for the the fact that they have planned attacks abroad and do hold overt anti semitic views.

Agree leadership change is required on both sides for any progress. But suits both leaderships currently to progress as things are.

No i said that the Israeli side of the conflict is more justified to me, considering that they are surrounded by savages who want them wiped off the face of the earth.

The gloves were well and truly off once Hamas were voted into power. The slaughter of Israeli citizens was treated with indifference bordering on contempt by you people until i called you out for it.

I don't want any innocent Palestinians being killed, but with Hamas using them as human shields then civilian casualties are inevitable sadly.

Hamas were elected over 18 years ago. They were elected by plurality, not majority.
Well over half the population of Gaza now were too young to vote then.
There has been no free and fare election since.

This status quo has been fostered and grown by the Israelis and in particular Netanyahu who funded Hamas.
Neither Netanyahu nor Hamas want a two state solution and that suited Bibi just fine.
I still question the lack of Israeli intelligence surrounding Oct 7. There's no way Mossad was completely caught off guard like that.
Bibi needed an excuse to invade, flatten and conquer Gaza.

There have been several opportunities to negotiate a peace deal and he's passed them up.
For him, it's not about ending the war or bringing home the hostages, it's about ethnic cleansing.
I dont doubt that Hamas are any different, but they are not being bank rolled by US and EU tax dollars.

I have no doubt that Hamas use human shields but the Israeli response went far beyond that almost immediately.
What should have been a pin point rescue mission turned in to bloody revenge and the seising of an opportunity to gain total control of Gaza and the West Bank

I dont get your point here. The original poster was making a point Hamas is an Islamist Palestinian liberation movement, whilst making no comment on its overt hatred of Jews, whether Israeli or not. Nor did they refer to Hamas attempted actions abroad.

I do agree with your statement though - Israel are indeed the masters of murders on foreign soil - many which should be applauded from Nazis, terrorists with blood on their hands and those involved in helping a country obtain a nuclear weapon that has a stated intention to destroy it.

Israel after October 7th stated overtly their intention to kill all of the Hamas leadership no matter whether they were in Gaza or outside of it. Is that an issue for you?
