I know, genuinely horrifying. This will be disastrous for pro-Palestine voters as they know they can't win either way. Imagine having had family killed in Palestine and needing to go to the polls in a few months.

TBF one outcome of this is that, in the medium term at least, one might emerge.

I mean increasing amounts of people of left and right can and do rage against elected politician malpractice, donors, insiders, “drain the swamp” and acting against the interests of the people / the country. The way this lobby behaves is increasingly seen as representing the worst of that, and when the Israelis fail to achieve the impossible people will start to join the dots.
