Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

A truly insane statement and dangerous rhetoric being used to whip people up by a guy who has downplayed Islamaphobia throughout his career. Let's just ignore the many Jews who join these apparently deadly protests. Perfectly suits the Tory Party line of "antisemitism bad, Islamaphobia fine".

"He is a former Margaret Thatcher Fellow at The Heritage Foundation, an ultra-conservative US-based think tank."

This is classic
You honestly think this “kicked off” on October 7.th!!!!
This kicked off 70’years ago with countless massacres of Palestinians by isrsel

Pete, you don’t got a f****+ clue, mate

Go back to bed you ignoramus

Edit: I don’t like being rude but you are totally out of your depth here - it’s insulting

While you're accusing people of not having a clue you might want to brush up on your own history, this conflict dates back further than UN resolution 181.
The violence that broke out after that was tit for tat, and the violence that broke out on October 7 was a continuation of violence from a side that will not tolerate the presence of the other side on largely grounds of religious fanaticism.

Hamas are a result of Israeli actions

Hamas is the result of Pan-Islamism that dates back to the 19th century which was an ideology to combat westernisation, the anti-semitism that fuels it's never ending embrace of death and misery for Palestinians dates back to Mohammed.

It never ceases to amaze me that well meaning progressive westerners will take the worst possible interpretation of anything a Christian conservative says, and align the worst possible motives, but when an Islamofascist professes their honest desire to murder Jews and then anyone else who won't bend the knee to their weird interpretation of Abraham 3.0 they're excused with "they're just oppressed"

The naqba is where this really begins. The occupation and the actions of the occupiers have created todays situation

Not for one minute are the Palestinians innocent in all this but, as a people resisting violent occupation, what choice do they have?

Any other nation resisting violent occupation are respected, not quite the same when its Muslims resisting Europeans and Americans it seems

Oh so you're one of those people who think Jews are white colonisers from Europe. That explains the one sided cherry picking of history I suppose.

Jewish people are without question, indigenous to not only what is currently known as the State of Israel and the Palestinian territories but the entire Levant, half the people who live in Israel now are descendants of refugee Levantine Jews who fled/were ejected from homes after the State of Israel was officially recognised by a majority of the worlds nations.

The colonisation of that land is well documented and it wasn't by Jews, so if you want to claim "a people resisting violent occupation" why are you starting in 1947?
Why not start in 600 BC when the Babylonians burned Jerusalem to the ground and exiled all the Jews who were living there for resisting their imperial advances, or 700 years after that when after a 70 year war that decimated the Jewish population the Romans colonised it?

Do you actually believe in indigenous land rights or are they only for humans who can be viewed through the very narrow lens of someone who just got Critical Theory for Dummies for xmas?

"Muslims resisting Europeans" [Poor language removed] my brown dog, do yourself a favour and find a cause you have the first clue about.

Sorry, are you talking about indigenous land rights?

Surely these apply most of all to the people who actually lived there, whose families have lived there for hundreds / thousands of years prior to 1947 and whose descendants were in many cases Jews who converted to Christianity and then Islam?

Also, more than half of the occupiers have zero Palestinian/israel dna - they are European only. Laughable they try and claim the lands that the Palestinians have occupied for millennia

Right.
The state of Israel was created in 1947 and populated by shiploads of European Jews from mainly Ukraine. The ones the Allies took pity on as they had been persecuted by the Nazis and the Soviets.

And the Jews expelled from Arab countries when the state of Israel came into existence.

Doesn't make what matey is saying OK though.

There have been Arab and Jewish people living on that godforsaken bit of desert for millennia in varying numbers and in varying states of harmony and discord.

Neither claim should trump the other. I don't see why an American Jew, for instance, who's family have been in the US for several generations, should have more claim than a Palestinian Arab who's family have been there in an unbroken lineage for hundreds of years.

Their histories are intertwined and mixed up like a plate of scrambled eggs. The occupation is the problem.

No mistake should be made though: the Zionists always had the intention of conquest.
