I understand your position on this, and I do sympathise. But for whatever reason you seem to ignore what happened on 7thOct which kicked all this off. Had it not happened today’s calamitous events would not be taking place. I don’t remember all of the Free Palestine ‘from the river to the sea’ protests and marches through London etc prior to 7thOct. So my question stands, was it a clever thing that Hamas did, or was it a major terrorist attack that brought a furious over the top response…

Few points.

1. October 7th did not happen in a vacuum. Even the lightest of googles can show you the consistent war crimes Israel have been committing against Palestinians, and this has been happening since the Nakhba.

2. I see you bring up “from the river to the sea” which is apparently antisemitic apart from when Netanyahu and right-wing Israelis use it

3. As bad as October 7th was, the brutality, barbarism, and bloodlust from the IDF since then makes it pale in comparison. The IDF on top of bombings have been forcing children to be left to die in incubators, deliberately sniped women and children, tortured civilians, abducted civilians in large numbers (which we have currently no idea where they’ve been sent or if they’re still alive) etc

4. If October 7th justifies a full on genocide for you - after the Birmingham pub bombings during the troubles, would you have supported the UK bombing Dublin to dust and the British military massacring Irish civilians en-masse?

It is down to Israel! Stop the land grabs, return the stolen lands, release the thousands of hostages, stop the decade long blockade, apologise for the tens of thousands murdered BEFORE October 7th, grant Israeli Arabs equal rights, have a bit of effin decorum basically!

The sooner people like you realise who the bad guys are in all this the better for Palestinian people

Oct7th justifies nothing except the killing of Hamas terrorists and their leaders. I don’t like linking it with the IRA but if they had committed an act in B’Ham on anything like the same scale and barbarity towards women and children plus the taking of hostages, I’m pretty sure the whole country would have demanded to see the government tell the ROI to either sort them out or we send our troops in and do it ourselves. Fortunately nothing like that happened in a single act….

But they’re deliberately murdering civilians and 70% of the Palestinian death toll is women and children - that high that a UNICEF spokesperson Ter Chaiban has described this as “a war on children” stating ““UNICEF has described the Gaza Strip as the most dangerous place in the world to be a child. We have said this is a war on children. But these truths do not seem to be getting through”

Israel has killed over 311 doctors, nurses and paramedics, over 120 journalists, over 144 UN aid workers have also been killed - the highest number in history over such a short span of time.

Over 30,000 Palestinians have been murdered now, over 70% of whom are expected to be women and children.

You are supporting and excusing genocide with your comments. There’s no ifs, buts, or maybes.

You speak about Israelis being massacred on Oct 7th, yet you seemingly have absolutely no knowledge about what caused Oct 7th. It doesn’t exist in a vacuum. The report from amnesty includes numbers for just 2022
