Lots of Palestinians (millions) are in refugee camps in Arab countries who still want to return to their homes stolen by Israel.

IMaybe an odd question here. Have many of you spoken to people in real life about this?

I do with my girlfriend and a few mates. But at work, no one has mentioned it at all, my parents haven't mentioned it.

When Russia invaded Ukraine it was such an open conversation, this seems to be near silent for a lot of people. Like a weird vacuum

We discuss in work every day. I discuss with my parents whenever I see them.

Every conversation condemns the lunatic Israeli government and also our disgusting governments that are allowing them to murder innocent civilians.

Its no good hiding from these things that will effect the future for our children.

I have the tv on in work with the news on all day long so no one misses what's happening. Also Covid enquiry. Making them all see the Tories for what they are..

They clearly are hell-bent on the destruction of Israel and will be emboldened by the Iran-Russia alliance. Putin is trying to use the situation to stoke anti-Western feelings. Hamas seems to believe there will be an escalation, with Arab nations being drawn in, possibly being assured of this by Iran. However, it could well just result in tens of thousands of Gazan deaths and the strip being leveled and Hamas facing Israel alone. As you say, those causing the deaths on both sides will be sitting in safety, looking at maps. It really is an outrage.

There does seem to be a strange position regarding the situation. I am not sure if there is an understanding that Iran is behind this but the only definitive has come from Iran and Iran's proxy in Yemen. This weeks Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meetings will be interesting to review if the talk of all 57 member countries refusing the notion of taking any Palestinian refugees. It is such a mess and clearly is not going to stop anytime soon.
