Which bit of the phrase is problematic? The bit about Israelis and Palestinians living together in peace?
The phrase river to the sea in general.
If it has racist connotations then he’s being a bit naughty.
As I say, I don’t know what the phrase means, I just know there’s always a kick off when people say it.
Not to be difficult or anything, but at face value does it seem like an offensive statement?
Thankfully, a lot of these evil people's grandchildren woke up to these atrocities, and became anti-IDF.

'Suggests' would deem it open to interpretation and view. We wouldn't really hang any kopites, would we?
It's a problematic phrase because it's the other side's slogan and carries their 'unified voice'.

At the risk of trivialising things it’s how the RS weaponise the “always the victims” mantra of many rival supporters.
Most of the context I’ve seen that phrase used has referenced Palestinians and Israelis living in peace.

If Palestine is "free from river to sea", then by definition Israel can't exist.
I think genocidal intent is pushing it, Jews could potentially live in a shared state, but its easy to see why ppl get upset by it, just like it is with the "always the victims" chant. Don't tell me fans of United and Chelsea, for instance, don't have Hillsborough in mind when they chant it.
