As potentially factual as a glance may have made it appear, there was a very certain stereotypical aspect that has been preyed upon by the anti-semites of the world since a long time ago. The point it made could well be valid, the means of putting it across very definitely is not.

I think they're on about the features of the Israeli soldier now I've had a second look. Not a great caricature for sure. But listen, I've watched The Life Of Brian and if Michael Palin can get away with it....
