So what if Israel is noted to be interfering with Palestinian politics and funding the next hamas- do we then interfere and saction Israel? Would you also agree that Israel has to give back land it's stolen?Expel Hamas and let the Palestinians and Israelis negotiate, without a threat of terrorism, under the oversight of UN representation. Otherwise this will just continue, Gaza will be raised and the whole of the Gaza Strip will be completely cut off from Israel and any support, leaving Egypt as its only link. Israel will continue doing what it is doing in the West Bank and Palestinians will be the only ones who suffer…..not a pretty future….
Embarrassed for you.His husband is still being kept hostage. I'm sure she does what ever to give his husband better chances of surviving.
This is excellent sample of Hamas propaganda and you will be seeing this more in coming days.
Yep.
The Israelis don't care about them, despite all their bollocks about being outraged by October 7th.
Anyone who accepts that equation or propagates it are utter weapons.Every hostage released makes the comparison between IS and Hamas more and more risible. I hope and pray that Hamas continue to release them without preconditions - especially the guest workers, the elderly, women and children.
Absolutely agree with this, especially the last part. They probably already have, while barely scratching Hamas. Remember the 10:1 rule. Hamas probably has 50,000 under arms. Kill 5,000 civilians, and even if they never harm another and wipe Hamas out, the problem comes back within a few years.
That's why current Israeli policy is absolute madness. Setting aside morality for a minute, everything we know about insurgency says they're making things worse, not better, for themselves. It's also a PR fiasco the Israeli government doesn't need, that flips Western voters' views of the conflict every day.
Add morality back into the equation, and it's clear enough that this is the short-term thinking of people who don't think they'll ever have to answer to anyone else for what they've done. Why should they? They don't answer to themselves.
An update:
… the Israeli government has lost the plot
Pete I think you give far too much credence to the "son of a Hamas leader", as if he is an impartial expert in this. By his own admission, he is someone who sold out his own people to the occupying force.
I think he's letting his rage at the indecent of the Israeli bombardment get the better of himself."Send special forces in"? That man is a fool, albeit not compared to Morgan.
