I know it is, and it was the same for the Israeli families. This needs to stop. A good first step might be for Hamas to release all of their hostages, but they won’t will they. They are part of their defence just like the poor Palestinians. Even if Israel stopped tonight, would Hamas release them ?…..

I just feel that some people seem to think that the sun shines out of Israels arsehole and they do everything they can to make excuses for the mindless slaughter they commit on an hourly basis.

If you condemn Israel you are either an antisemite or you support a terrorist org, seems to be the gist I get from the whole internet.

Israel have had some crap governments and the latest is one of the more extreme. I just can’t help feeing though that today no one would be dying if Hamas hadn’t done what they did….

There is no excuse, but people going on about the last 50 or 70 years will not stop the deaths of today or tomorrow, and tbh that’s my concern…..

Indeed. Both men had previously been men of violence, but both became older and sought negotiation over the gun. As you say it was the closest they had come to a peace before some extremist nutter shot Rabin…and a lot of people have died as a result…..

OMG mate just watched some of motaz vids from today. They are harrowing. If people think the news is bad, they need to watch these real videos of what is happening. The videos are distressing but also vital to see where these air strikes are landing and what destruction to civilian life they’re causing.

That video of the child on the hospital bed who has somehow survived will stay with me forever that.
