The lack of respect for the leader of their closest ally is incredible. The same hour he lands, settlers escorted by police went into al-Aqsa. The one achievement he has from today - the Israelis accepting that the Rafah crossing can be opened - will be rendered meaningless when they refuse to stop bombing, or worse yet actually bomb one of the trucks.

Netanyahu increasingly looks like he is leading a policy of starving Gaza, until the world is forced to let them expel the population into Egypt so that those remaining can be saved.
