I don’t know as I’m a submariner so that’s not my area of expertise but I do know the ships they sent are not warships but Royal Fleet Auxilary vessels do the navy will be thinking more down the line of humanitarian reasons.
Yep Lanc is in/around the Persian gulf, that’s miles away from the med which is the sea that is next to Israel.

Asymmetric warfare has a way of unfolding like that. You're talking 200,000 to 300,000 civilian deaths in Iraq, and possibly higher, depending on who you ask.
It benefits neither side in a traditional, two-party war over dirt to indisciminately kill civilians. If you're the defender, you're killing your own. If you're the attacker, you may engage in some terror tactics in an attempt to break the other side's will to fight, but those tactics also strengthen the insurgency you'll have to put down afterwards if you win.
When hopelessly outgunned and outmatched, civilians become an asset for the insurgency. They can never destroy the enemy's capacity to make war, so they have to break their willingness to fight. Making the enemy government look callous and inhumane is part of the overall strategy, as are terror attacks on enemy civilians, if any.
There never would be. Our media was pretty clear that the administration's position is that the humanitarian aid needs to be sorted before Israel goes in. That was Biden's condition for supporting an invasion.

Basically got pretty angry at being asked if Israel will allow independent verification of the evidence they ate presenting about the hospital rocket attack.
I really have no idea who is the culprit, and I can see why it's an emotive issue which could trigger an angry response, but the way he went on the attack is hugely unhelpful. Just say yes. The reaction just strikes me as having touched a nerve.
I just got the impression of a paranoid, tense and vengeful individual, which is worrying if its a signifier of wider government. Which does not bode well for trying to calm stuff down.
The irony is, if it was not an Israeli attack, he's probably making it harder to convince those with strong doubts too.
