This is apparently the car park of the hospital that was hit but needs verification. It doesn't appear to show any significant damage i.e. levelled building(s) of a crater. Previous Israel strikes on builings have shown catastrophic damage so there 'might' be some truth in the IJ story. It'll be interesting to see satelite footage if any is released but regardless it is all still such a pointless terror and loss of life.

BBC just showed this. The only footage so far is burned out cars.. They also showed the crater caused by a missile. Not much chance that it would have killed 100's from the look of it.. Looks more like a grenade or something..

Sorry, mate. I’ve been watching Israel behave like this for decades, there is zero compassion or accountability. They are also the masters of disinformation which will be believed sufficiently by idiots that they are again not held accountable

They have attacked dozens of medical facilities snd even ambulances this week - they should not be excused again

I like many have only really started looking in depth at this situation since it all kicked off last week.

From what I’m seeing on-line I can’t really form a picture of who did what to who and when, as there is so much bias out there for both camps.

In relation to this hospital business - if it was an Israeli bomb or arty shell then there would be a crater and major blast damage to buildings.

From what I’ve seen this morning - there’s not. The hospital and surrounding buildings are all intact. The cars in the car park are burnt out (They would be mangled if it was a JDAM). Which would suggest a fuel-based blast. JDAM’s and dumb bombs do not contain fuel propellant but rockets do.

This look like a rocket mis-fire not a bomb. Again I can’t be certain but it looks that way.

As for what’s gone before I don’t doubt that the Israelis have committed multiple acts of atrocity upon the Palestinian people, but HAMAS live, move and operate within the civilian populace. They don’t fight like a regular army. Israel needs to find a way to take on HAMAS without hurting the innocent civilian Palestinians and bombing the crap out of their homes is not the way.

Remove the Israeli govt and remove HAMAS /PIJ etc…and maybe there’s a chance for peace and stability. Moderate voices need to be heard now, in Israel and across the world.

Anyone else listen to the rather uncomfortable interview with the Israeli general (edit: might have been a colnel) on Radio 4 this morning?

Basically got pretty angry at being asked if Israel will allow independent verification of the evidence they ate presenting about the hospital rocket attack.

I really have no idea who is the culprit, and I can see why it's an emotive issue which could trigger an angry response, but the way he went on the attack is hugely unhelpful. Just say yes. The reaction just strikes me as having touched a nerve.

I just got the impression of a paranoid, tense and vengeful individual, which is worrying if its a signifier of wider government. Which does not bode well for trying to calm stuff down.

The irony is, if it was not an Israeli attack, he's probably making it harder to convince those with strong doubts too.

just on hamas, the Gaza "prison" is one of the most densely populated places in the world - they can only move within the civilian populace. DO NOT BELIEVE the human shield waffle - it is used to justify Israeli killing of civilians and has been for years

I have the evidence of a quoted 6,000 bombs dropped on Gaza as of 7 days ago with an increase in bombing in the last week to round that up to about 10,000 bombs...and we're supposed to believe it was Hamas' "misfiring" rocket that did this.
