I’ve been involved in hundreds of simulated TLAM strikes during my time in the military. I was tactical weapon system qualified on submarines so I had to learn everything about how strikes work and the planning done prior to the person who presses the button. I’ve done a patrol on a SSBN which you also need to be qualified on the SWS side of things. These air strikes are not a mistake. You can put a missile on a car being driven ffs.

Not here to say I know this and blow smoke up my own ass. I’m here to say, this isn’t a case of a few civilians being caught up in crossfire. These are targeted attacks against civilians and hospitals now. It’s utterly disgusting.

You don’t need to kill 1 innocent civilian to get rid of a terrorist organisation.

They need to be called out by the UN to be prosecuted for war crimes now..

Well Lancaster is not even in the area. The two ships the navy have sent are RFA ships manned by civilians. One being a hospital ship RFA Argus. The Navy have sent these ships there for humanitarian reasons no matter what the goverment line is.

It's not like they haven't got form for that sort of thing though. They'd already struck a school.

And I stand by the statement that IDF spokespeople are disingenuous when they talk about avoiding civilian casualties. What do they think will happen when they use airstrikes on one of the most densely populated areas in the world?
