It's all well and good saying Zelnesky and the Ukraine face an existential threat and he should do anything to avoid it...but to say he should, in your estimation - if the option existed - go along with a "slaughter" of the Palestinians is beyond the pale.

You are badly misunderstanding Zelenskyy's situation. It is not good. He is entirely dependent upon outside assistance to prevent capitulation and subjugation. That assistance is under threat, due to American domestic politics. If replacing that assistance requires dealing with a pariah state, so be it.

You have the luxury of not having faced an invasion of Britain in your lifetime. If you were facing one, you would tell the Prime Minister to cut that deal.

I think generally speaking that a lot of famous people putting social media posts out there about this are not well informed or even have a vested interest besides sharing the same religion and have been told (or feel the need) to tell the world their opinion as if it matters.

It absolutely can when the binary alternative is the slaughter and subjugation of the people who put their faith and trust in you to guarantee their security.

I was tactical weapon system qualified on submarines so I had to learn everything about how strikes work and the planning done prior to the person who presses the button. I’ve done a patrol on a SSBN which you also need to be qualified on the SWS side of things. These air strikes are not a mistake. You can put a missile on a car being driven ffs.

Not here to say I know this and blow smoke up my own ass. I’m here to say, this isn’t a case of a few civilians being caught up in crossfire. These are targeted attacks against civilians and hospitals now. It’s utterly disgusting.

You don’t need to kill 1 innocent civilian to get rid of a terrorist organisation.
