Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

Indeed, restocked. In terms of what may happen however, I think this latest attack has just pushed Israel over the edge. Not so much the number of deaths which was horrific, but the way Hamas went about it and the deliberate killing of children. Israel won’t be stopped. The USA knows it as does the U.K., Egypt, Jordan, Saudi etc.. This will not end with the elimination of Hamas, but will end with the current members of Hamas being dead. Hezbollah may follow Irans instructions and that will result in their elimination and if Iran actually is proven to be behind it all may well result in an all out war between Iran, Israel and the USA ….desperate times I’m afraid, but I honestly do not think that Israel will give up this time until it’s all over…..
Until what is all over? Their unlawful, decades long torment of the Palestinian people? Israel will never stop that, mate.

Hamas might be soon asking themselves why did we do it? Effectively Gaza is done. Not functional infra, place severily levelled. Where to go, what to do? I predict UN will soon be involved, if regional war doesnt break out that is.

These people are only going to be happy with their own actions. They dont care about Gaza. The worse Gaza is the more recruits will join them.

Look at the leaders, worth $billions sitting in Qatar while theyre living in filth.

Calling out lies is not childish Zat especially when his trying to disparage Egypt who are not combatants.

Sorry Zat but that’s bellish behaviour

I find it bizarre and childish to talk about an "eqyptian land grab" during this time.

You would think they had more important things to worry about than finding celebrities on social media who dont line up to cheer them on. Or are they afraid of dissenting voices of people with big platforms?

Voices starting to get louder now.

The Hadid family are known for swathes of posts which are anti-israel under the guise of support for palestinians.

Its all one sided propaganda and for the two rich and famous daughters without any real life experience its in very bad taste at best.

Whats the congresswoman proposing to do about Hamas, Hezbollah etc?

Unfit for office.

Hamas and Hezbollah need to be terminated.

That will be a win for Israel and also the citizens of Gaza, Beirut and Lebanon. Also the nearby countries too who will feel safer.

The concern here is that there seems to be major issues in US and UK and there needs to be a 'convenient distraction' with an economic upturn.

I think that will drive the severity of the situation.

Colombian and Spanish now having politicians making statements like this.

Didnt hear anything last week in support for israel from the same people.

Maybe they want to look at their own countries first?

A rather unfortunate article in tone I feel.

I don't disagree that anyone cheering Hamas' actions are bad bell ends, but it feels rather broad brush and a way of castigating all 'liberals' as hating jews in some way.

Not helpful for debate and engagement in my view. It's the Telegraph though, for a so called highbrow paper it really lacks nuance or subtlety at times.
It's not been highbrow for a long time. It's just a broadsheet Sun for people who think the trains used to run on time in the 50s and Jordan Peterson is ok for one of those liberal brainiacs.

See the guardian have sacked Steve Bell ( cartoonist) for being antisemitic.

I find it strange how all the anti Semitism from the right (or centre apparently) has just been completely shunned and it's suddenly all the left who hate jews

Genocide.
It's exactly what it is. Shame on those who have allowed Israel state to behave in such a manner. Happens far too often with Individuals in that the abused become the abuser without the correct support. And unfortunately been some decades that Israel has been the abusing state., despite the horrors it's people have suffered in the past, you would think it' would know better.
Really does need to look at itself in how it treats those who reside in Gaza, not just now but in the past. If Israel state does not have the capacity to accept the vacuum it creates that allows Hamas to exists. Then it will create further rmartys around the world.
