This is the new line of propaganda for the gullible to swallow. There's no humanitarian crisis, it's all been spun to paint a false picture of the devastation that Israel have caused.

I may have missed something here but apart from attention seeking idiots in the world (there are a few) and psychopaths who want other innocent people dead, nobody is supporting Hamas or cheering them on. Every person with an ounce of decency and humanity is disgusted by Hamas' actions.

Having a genuine and very legitimate concern about innocent Palestinians, most children, who are going to feel the wrath and suffer horrific consequences is a normal human reaction tbh. Anyone who doesnt show concern for them needs help.

I think equating people criticising the Israeli government with having an issue with Jewish people as a whole, the Israeli people in particular, or being anti-semitic is so wrong imo. I feel the same for the poor Israeli people caught up in the conflict but they are'nt living under the same conditions, with the same threats over their head or no water/electricity etc.

Like blaming the English people for our awful racist, biggoted and corrupt government. The Syrian people for Assad, or the Russian people for Putin. I would be saying exactly the same.

Innocent people should never be used as pawns in a political game or killed/tortured as an act of justice or retribution

I doubt Hamas give a crap about the average Palestinian. I doubt Netanyahu cares about the Israeli people. These wars world over and conflicts are all about greed power and corruption. The quicker we all start holding goverments to account for a lack of peace the better.

Asking for a ceasefire seems more to forget Israel's actions and the cycle can continue rather than hold both hamas and Israel accountable for the murders they have commited. Neither are justifiable , both should be treated as such.
Although looking at famous Jewish Americans, I have not seen so much reference to world war 2 before in regards to one subject, Jewish people are playing the anti semitism card and recalling past horrors to adjust the viewpoint of this. Religion may form part of the ideology but this is man Vs man at the end of the day, Israel Vs Palestine. There is zero justification for either actions and if ww2 is relevant then so is the actions of Israel for the past 70 years.

Seen an article saying the bbc have received a record number of complaints about biased broadcasting on this,the complaints are split virtually 50/50 on them being too pro Israeli/Pro Palestinian lol lol

If we don't find the correct ways to bring him on side you could see him planning to eradicate as much of Gaza as possible, and then most likely occupy it.

The situation needs to be pulled back. To do that the first thing has to be to manage the fall out of last weeks attack and make sure that it doesn't go down the path Hamas/Iran have most likely planned for.

I am not happy to turn a blind eye to any abuse of Palestinians or Israelis. However people have been excusing Hamas basically saying that it was purely the fault of Israel that a terrorist group killed, mutilated and took as hostages men, women and children…which I think is offensive to ordinary people…..

Hardly, dave. If you're a world leader whose citizens are dying by the gross in a war not of your own making, you don't get to be choosy about allies. Doubly so if you can no longer trust your largest ally to deliver the goods, due to their internal political discord. If Ukraine runs out of munitions, the Russians will resume the trek westward. Zelenskyy is in a position where he doesn't have the luxury of having principles other than 'win'. His hand is forced.

The difference between Ukraine and Israel is that the Israeli government created this mess, by using the most authoritarian of tactics in the pursuit of land. You can only dehumanize people on this scale for so long before the tension boils over. What happened ten days ago was deplorable, but it was also inevitable.

If you can't be realistic about the differences between the two situations, I don't know what to tell you, other than that I hope you never find yourself in a situation where you have to realize just how wrong you are.
