A few good Israeli organisations who seek peace and justice, if anyone's interested.

RN is rarely far from there, and/or the Gulf.
I'd resent very much being party to the propaganda of Grant Shapps if I were serving on those ships. The very thought of being associated with actions that's going to kettle in 2 million people inside a place with those conditions is terrible

This is awful. Leaders need to tone down the rhetoric and try to calm tensiins instead of fueling them. Things will spill over and get ugly fast.

It’s a strange old thing with Hamas and the people of the Gaza Strip. Do the populace view them as their defenders and protectors and love them, or as the bringers of bombardment, death and destruction to the Palestinians and hate them……

Do the Palestinian civilians even know why they are being bombed? If Hamas control the state media, civilians may not even be aware of the massacres committed by Hamas at the weekend. For all they know, they may view the bombings as unprovoked attacks and not be aware of the reasons why...

Gaza is not North Korea, there is information widely available online, via media and from friends / family in the diaspora.

Thought this was an interesting poll - sorry if its been on before:

Poll: Majority blames gov’t for Hamas massacre, says Netanyahu must resign

An overwhelming majority of 86% of respondents, including 79% of coalition supporters, said the surprise attack from Gaza is a failure of the country's leadership.

Four out of five Jewish Israelis believe the government and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are to blame for the mass infiltration of Hamas terrorists into Israel and the massacre that followed, a new Dialog Center poll released on Thursday found.

An overwhelming majority – 86% of respondents, including 79% of coalition supporters, said the surprise attack from Gaza is a failure of the country’s leadership, while a staggering 92% said the war is causing anxiety.

Furthermore, almost all the respondents (94%) believe the government must bear some responsibility for the lack of security preparedness that led to the assault, with over 75% saying the government holds most of the responsibility.

Netanyahu must resign after war's conclusion, Israelis say

The survey, which polled 620 Israeli Jews from across the country, also found that a majority of respondents believed Netanyahu should resign following the conclusion of Operation Swords of Iron.

A slim majority of 56% said Netanyahu must resign at the end of the war, with 28% of coalition voters agreeing with this view, and 52% of respondents also expect Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to resign.

In addition, most respondents said they do not trust the government to lead the war on Gaza, though the poll was conducted before former defense minister Benny Gantz joined an emergency unity government on Wednesday evening.

Did Hamas media broadcast on Saturday morning that their 'fighters' had just slaughtered, raped and massacred 1000+ Israeli civilians, so you should probably keep your head down? No.

Probably not, but Hamas controlled media is not the only source of information they have access to. Also there is the inescapable context of what has been happening to them over the past fifteen years.

I have. But access to it can, and is controlled by others. I highly doubt Palestinian civilians have free access... they can only see what is allowed and moderated/controlled by Hamas.

On Saturday, when Hamas launched its evil massacre on Israeli citizens, murdering, raping, and kidnapping civilians as well as mutilating their dead bodies, official PA TV broadcast the PA’s support for and celebration of the attack via its Gaza Strip reporter.

In a live broadcast, the PA TV reporter gleefully explained to viewers what a “blow” Hamas had delivered Israel, a blow Israel “will yet remember.” Calling the massacre of what at the time of writing has reached over 1,200 murdered and 2,900 wounded, the PA TV reporter specifically mentioned that Hamas had “killed people” and taken “dozens of captives.” He took pride in the fact that Hamas succeeded in capturing “both dead bodies, soldiers, and settlers” – i.e., Israeli civilians living in sovereign Israel:

They know why.
