Indeed, as was shown by the Israelis themselves in attacking the British. But it’s only when the gun is removed that talks can begin and the senseless killing stops….

And Hamas is Iran's proxy in the region. It is an awful and extremely complex situation that sound bites won't help.

Pete the best Tory PM of the last thirty years didn’t believe that and he was proved entirely right. Meaningful talks comes first, as does acknowledging that the terrorist side has genuine grievances.
 
Its honestly staggering that all our politicians and US politicians are 100% giving backing to Israel's current actions.

Bombing residential areas, hospitals, universities and just say 'we believe Hamas are making secret plans there...'

What, there's innocent people getting killed there? Well they shouldn't be hiding around Hamas then!! Its fecking disgraceful...

A show of solidarity with the victims of Hamas is appropriate. Also a show of solidarity with the Palestinians being killing on retaliation right now is appropriate.

A symbol of peace would be the appropriate thing to be displayed if need be.

Those Israelis were at that time palastinian Zionists Jews.
Indigenous of the region.
They had terrorists under Ben Gurion.
They killed British soldiers and many others when they blew up a hotel in Tel Aviv.

The actions of the weekend are the latest 9/11. It is an awful situation but to be expected that political parties/peoples will show support.

The worlds leaders should be pleading for restraint but sadly some will not want this.
