@Zatara answer this. Israel has said it's going to level every building in the Gaza strip, with 1 million children currently residing there. They don't have passports, they can't leave. Where do you want them to go? What do you want to do with them? "Eradicate them" is that what you want? Stop for a moment and think beyond Hamas, and look at what Israel is about to do.

How can it be an apartheid state when Arab Israelis enjoy the same rights as Jewish Israelis? There have been 16 Arab Israelis on the Israeli Supreme Court. Judge Khaled Kabub, a Muslim Arab, currently serves on it. I don't recall any Black judges in South Africa during apartheid.

Very worrying that some in the media seem to be trying to justify the mass rape and slaughter of Jewish women and children.

Literally everyone I’ve seen posting has completely condemned Hamas and what they’ve done over the past few days. Falsely claiming other poster have done this for being balanced and pointing out that Israel have committed countless atrocities against the Palestinian people (who AGAIN are 47% made up of children themselves) is not people justifying or supporting Hamas.

Regarding the thread title - Gaza is pretty much an open air prison with it’s water, electricity, food and medical supplies limited by Israel, and again because you seemingly cannot/will not read - it’s a open air prison WHERE ONE IN TWO PEOPLE IS A CHILD. If that’s not apartheid, please explain what IS apartheid.

And yet again NO ONE is justifying the kidnapping and murder or innocent people, literally no one. There is a massive difference between giving analysis and saying an attack like this was always going to be inevitable due to the conditions forced on Palestine and the fact the only people they could turn to is a fundamentalist terror group, and saying the attacks are good and you support them.

Correct.

The crimes of Hamas are despicable and beyond words in their depravity. Their existence is an affront to all right minded people.

It's also important to acknowledge the conditions that the Palestinians have been subjected to by the Israeli state that led to the rise of Hamas and other militant and/ or terrorist groups over the last few decades. Without resolving this such that Palestinians do not have to resort to being 'radicalised into terrorism.

We only have to look at Ireland where terrorism is now infrequent compared to the worst era of the troubles. There's allowance of political parties that push to all Ireland unification and it's a real proposition that this is achievable.

The day when Israeli Jews and Palestinian Muslims can feel safe and live together and have equality of rights and work together in harmony for their mutual prosperity and welfare seems ever further away.

Damn Hamas. They have committed evil. But we also need to call for innocent Palestinians to not be persecuted and their rights returned to them.
