No need to be an idiot mate. Suarez in that Arsenal team would suit every party and give him regular Champs League, surely that can only improve him?

bendtner has a better international scoring rate like though, against much tougher teams in europe and with a ****e danish team as well.

...yeah okay, i'm taking the piss with that one.

A true world class player needs to prove himslef at the very top level. The Le Tissier comparison is interesting as he too shunned big moves to sign a "comfort contract" where he would be the biggest fish in the small pond

Good point that. When he was with Liverpook he was the same level as Suarez. Truly brilliant but not quite World Class.

Obviously he isn't now - pleased as he sh*t on Liverpool after pretending to love him. Suarez is twice the player he is right now.

Very like Fellaini isn't it mate?

That step up isn't as easy as some of these players convince themselves it is.

I have to be honest and say that Suarez would fare better at United than Fellaini mate.

He would struggle to displace Rooney and RVP when fully fit but its very much a squad game now so with the Champions League games too he'd get plenty of opportunities.

Agreed in terms of fitting in a Utd fairly well, but like you say there's no way he'd take Rooney or RVP's place, but as an impact sub he'd be outstanding to have on the bench or for cup games. If Utd go for 3 up top then they could be deadly but with the current setup it's RVP and Rooney all day long.

I agree, I think Suarez is certainly looking like he could play the role Tevez did there behind Rooney and Ronaldo.

But I thought the same about Torres and Fellaini, who both had months of being the best players in the league but struggled after a big move. It can be tough at that kind of club.

It's up to Suarez when he thinks he's ready for that kind of pressure. Rooney handled it with aplomb and albeit Suarez is a little older so probably won't reach that level but he's got similar potential I think. Might just need the right manager to bring it out of him.

Then you had Sturridge who couldn't get a job sweeping Torres hair at Chelsea now look at him, there is defo a step up and down.

That three up front for United I would love to see. That could really work that. It would be really interesting to see if playing alongside RVP and Rooney would enable that final step up for Suarez too.

Some excellent points mate, agreed.

Lads Van Persie has only had 3 or 4 good seasons out of about 10.Suarez has been boss since he got here, even with all the games he's been banned for, he does need to do it over a much longer period of time to be truly boss, like Drogba did but I think there,s a good chance he will. Torres has been gash since he left them but he's won some medals like.

Van persie is next level...... Suarez is good but not there yet

Lads, some blue-tinted specs on here I think, the only difference between Suarez and the Ballon D'or shortlist is a) doing it against the top teams and b) cutting out the err 'questionable' antics. in terms of putting average defences to the sword he's right up there imo.
