Is WBA the biggest game of our season

I feel like we're being a little too harsh on suarez, mind.

He's very much in the top 5 players in the league on current form. He has a good world cup and you'll see a european power willing to take a chance on him, probably.

On present form yes mate, no two ways about it.

Top five players in the league though? RVP, Aguero, Rooney, Yaya Toure and Eto'o. All of them world class.

Suarez has room to improve though mate. I don't think he'll match Van Persie's level or achievements but he could develop close to being a true world class striker.

He does mate, but look at his record against the Champion league teams, not scored against them this season. That the difference between Van Persie and Suarez, he can do it in the big games. That's a true world class player in my book.
This is a compete myth...this season despite not scoring against the top 3, he has peroformed.great in all those games and it's not as if he has missed any clear cut chances.

He has scored against Everton away. scored 2 and assisted 3 against Spurs away.
Last season he scored against City, Arsenal, Chelsea(twice),Everton, Spurs, Newcastle

In his first season with us he almost single handedly destroyed Utd's defense to hand Dirk.Kut a hatrick.
So yes it's a proper myth that he doesn't do it in the big games

Would Liverpool getting Europa League football persuade him to stay? Champions League obviously would but you'd question if they'll maintain a challenge long enough to finish top 4.

I don't think you can judge because he hasn't had the chance yet. We all say the same about Baines and it's a similar thing. You can't really say they're world class because they haven't been judged against the best in the world, but Everton fans still say Baines is world class and it's the same with Liverpool and Suarez.

i wouldn't call baines world class because of that very reason, top class no doubt and one of the finest in his position in the world yes, but i'm not sure i could call him world class sadly.

as big of a role model as their is around for any young kid though, football would be a much better place with millions of baines' around.

I think playing with Agureo at city could elevate him to potential world class. But as AF suggests earlier, does he have a winning mentality though??

Dunno mate. Has a tendency to go missing in the big games, but I suspect that's because he's up against better defenders. The real question is can someone coach that bit of extra class in him or is he going to be one of those "nearly" footballers who everyone agrees is a real talent but ends up disappointing ?

It'll be interesting to see how much success, or otherwise, he has at a big club. From Suarez's perspective though, would he move to a big club where he might only start half of the games ? Big fish in a small pond or a minnow in the Atlantic. Tough call.

But the likes of us, you and Spurs are just below the cream at the top mate. That will hopefully change and hard for me to admit but you could sneak Champions League maybe next year if you spend well.

Let us put our tinted glasses aside and say could we honestly see either Lukaku or Suarez scoring a hat trick like Eto'o done today against Man United?

No, me neither. That was truly world class.

Would be a huge test of his loyalty that. A bid of around £50m and his agent will be screaming for the move. Have to wonder whether the squad disruption could force the board to accept.

Your kidding right?

His brand new contract means the Board dont have a say, when they dont finish 4th hes out of there before he even talks to the press.

Yeah, if he got a move to a big club like Valencia it would be interesting to see his progression.

Eto'o today vs a wounded Man U did show that ruthlessness that the best strikers have, I won't argue.

I think Suarez is in better form at the minute but yeah he's never performed like that vs a top team. And obviously Eto'os record in europe is far superior, because Suarez simply hasn't been given chances on that stage.

The big game thing is a bit of a myth as you say mate, but he's still unproven at the top level in comparison to the best forwards in world football, he's in that bracket below trying to progress to that next level and he realises that's just not going to happen at a club like Liverpool, we're in the same boat as yourselves, trying to hang onto our best players but it's inevitable that someone of his quality will be off to a top club sooner rather than later to achieve his ambitions.

Eto'o? Are you pissed or trying to get on RAWK? He has been tosh for most of this season. I'd have Suarez over Eto'o. If Suarez wasn't a lunatic, like.
