Is WBA the biggest game of our season

No oneMe can doubt he's a great player mate, even we're not that biased!

But despite his great goals record this season, I don't see him on the level of the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, RVP and Rooney. All players that do it every year regardless of opposition.

Messi and Ronaldo are on another level...it's criminal to put RVP or Rooney in the same bracket as them...Suarez has been better than the latter two in the last 2 seasons.

How many goals has he scored against teams from the top 4 mate?

Allow me to answer that for you.

ZERO

Hes a good player if you need somebody to do well against Norwich, but theres a simple reason hes still at a Club that finishes 8th every Season, hes simply not good enough to mix with the elite.

Wait...how isn't Suarez world class already? Best goals to game ration than any striker in Europe currently. Are you basing this on titles or trophies alone? Because on individual skill, I don't think any striker in the league is better than him. I know it'll be difficult as an Everton fan to acknowledge Suarez's brilliance but you can't deny he has easily been the best player of the league this season. Evej all Utd fans will accept that

Defending is part of football also, I'd say Koscielny at Arsenal has been excellent and is part of the statistically best defense, so its not that clearcut that Suarez is the best player this season. Ramseys also been fantastic.

what's the greatest thing he's achieved in his career?

not sure what you're trying to say about even all utd fans. what does that mean?

we're not bitter blues as you label us, we're just being true. he goes missing in the really big games (bar the derbies arguably, but i think that's more to do with distin being a bit fragile towards him). yesterday shows why he's not world class mate, i think it was you i was having the debate about bale being better.

yesterday in that game, bale would have trusted his own ability to score a wonder goal to win the game, suarez had to resort to diving because he knew deep-down he wasn't good enough to do it himself without cheating. look at the way aguero won the league in the last min couple of years back, he could easily have gone down under the contact and won/conned a penalty, but he was good enough to trust his own ability to stay on his feet and smash home the title.

i can guaran-damn-tee that if suarez was in that position he would have dived like he did vs villa rather than smash home the winner - it's what big game players do. suarez isn't a big game player enough of the time for me.

a player can't be labelled world class if he's never done it on the elite stage and i'm not on about a couple of good games against columbia and ecuador, i mean against your barcelona's, real madrid's etc.

suarez hasn't done something like score a hat-trick of wonder goals at the san siro has he?

Some truth in that. The difference is that ManU have the money to improve the players round Rooney and RVP whereas Liverpool, though richer than us, just aren't in that financial league. So the chances are that eventually Suarez will walk away and try his hand at a bigger club.

He does mate, but look at his record against the Champion league teams, not scored against them this season. That the difference between Van Persie and Suarez, he can do it in the big games. That's a true world class player in my book.

Yes that's a fair point.

I don't think you can judge because he hasn't had the chance yet. We all say the same about Baines and it's a similar thing. You can't really say they're world class because they haven't been judged against the best in the world, but Everton fans still say Baines is world class and it's the same with Liverpool and Suarez.

As is that mate. Its good to be brutally honest and take the tinted shades off every now and then though, which I feel were doing here.

Messi and Ronaldo are on another level...it's criminal to put RVP or Rooney in the same bracket as them...Suarez has been better than the latter two in the last 2 seasons.

Come on pal, you surely don't believe that do you?

Two title winning world class strikers? I'll politely have to disagree.

Van Persie was better than Suarez last season. His goals won the title, Suarez couldn't control his temper and missed the end of the season because he bit someone.

He's been better this season while Van Persie has been injured.

i think yaya toure has probably been player of the season thus far. he's not even a goal-scoring midfielder - that's not his job, but he's in double figures already?

i remember he's scored a few big goals and has always turned up in the big games. suarez' goalscoring has been great, but because he's scoring hat-tricks against norwich or fulham can't solely make you player of the season - even adam johnson has achieved half of that

No offence mate but Van Persie is on another level, he almost single handedly won Utd the title in a squad that you could argue is weaker than yours. That's the sort of level Suarez aspires to but he's not there, a step up to a club playing regular Champs League will do him the power of good, he'll be in the shop window at the World Cup and that would concern me greatly

I think playing with Agureo at city could elevate him to potential world class. But as AF suggests earlier, does he have a winning mentality though??

I feel like we're being a little too harsh on suarez, mind.

He's very much in the top 5 players in the league on current form. He has a good world cup and you'll see a european power willing to take a chance on him, probably.
