Henderson and Sturridge have done well this season, but they are not in the same quality bracket or consistent as Welback and Cleverly. They are a step above the Liverpool pair and have the winners medals to prove it.

They're both clearly good players mate, but Welbeck has got so much more to his game.

His holding up and link-up play gives him the edge over Sturridge I think, but Sturridge has got a slightly better finish.

I respect your opinion mate but I'd easily put them in the same category. Just a case of form. I know Cleverly is preferred for England and Wellbeck over Sturridge from time to time but there isn't much in it.

Fair point this. RVP scores in the big games, Suarez is a bit of a flat track bully. To be fair though, they're both class acts, but Van Persie is world class while Suarez is a few steps behind RVP and probably a couple of steps behind Rooney too.

Football has changed so much recently to be fair.

It is worrying in a way, as players such as Barkley and Suarez from clubs like us and them (who are just on that second tier of clubs on a European scale) could be tempted by the top clubs like Bayern and to a certain level, even United.

Wait...how isn't Suarez world class already? Best goals to game ration than any striker in Europe currently. Are you basing this on titles or trophies alone? Because on individual skill, I don't think any striker in the league is better than him. I know it'll be difficult as an Everton fan to acknowledge Suarez's brilliance but you can't deny he has easily been the best player of the league this season. Evej all Utd fans will accept that

Look at the stats for England for both players, Welbeck has the far superior record at top level games.
