Is this David Moyes' last season?

He's not leaving. After tinkering and dithering, he's put together one of the more boss Everton sides in years aside from the abject lack of depth. He's not going to walk away from this unless Everton start selling before the close of the window. Beating Utd yesterday hopefully guarantees nobody will be sold unless it's at a Lescott level price. He'll want to see this through.

Where is Moyes going to go? Spurs - no. To the continent - no. The only places I can see Moyes going is to Utd (bound to happen lads and who could blame him) or to take up a national side like Scotland or Ireland. Don't think he wants to mess with the owners at richer clubs and no sense in him leaving to go somewhere like Villa where he might have more scratch but he's starting over.

Maybe he'll go - if he finds another club that pays in excess of £3.5M per year for winning precisely **** all.

I know there's a lot of for and against people in respect of this. It certainly seems Kipper was awash with the Moyes Out brigade. I personally would hate to see him leave, he turned our club around from perennial struggler flirting with relegation to genuine top 6 contenders.
I'd love to see him backed financially which I don't think will ever really happen - bar a miracle!
But fundamentally he's a top drawer manager. He's had his share of tranfer bungles, but conversely he's no doubt responsible for some of the most 'value for money' signings the Premier League has ever seen - Cahill, Arteta, Lescott, Jags, Baines!
I'd give him his best contract yet and tie him up for another 5yrs.

isn't he like in the top 12 best paid managers in the world or something ?

clubs would have to have deep pockets to afford old Gingey nuts

Clearly he'll be putting his money where his mouth is and taking that 20% pay cut he was talking about. Top Man.

Moyes has a very good setup in place here, he's surrounded by his people, he's given a lot more control than most in his position are, he's also accountable for what goes on on the pitch but with his restrictions and handicaps well known to the wider world. I agree with the point sheeds makes, I think if he does leave anytime soon, it'll be for a foreign job. That said, I think when it comes down to it, he will find it hard to leave, for all the problems he has to deal with, at Everton he does have almost everything he wants.
