Is this David Moyes' last season?

An editor of another site has been insinuating that he's heard it from Bill himself that he's going after this season. Like most others say if we have a brilliant season and win a cup he might do. If we were to qualify for the CL (UNLIKELY) is he going to leave without having a crack at it?

Wait till the window closes and hell sign after that when everything has settled.

He'll get a wage increase and if he were to go, he'd have done it this season or last if Chelsea or Spurs asked him. They didn't so he's got nowhere to go really.

Looking at the way he's turned the squad round this season, shifting out some of the dead weight, getting reasonably young players in (very young if get Niang) it looks like he's planning for the future. Moyes said himself at the start of the transfer window that he just wanted to concentrate on signing players, not his own contract.

I'm sure players coming in, and players signing new contracts must want to know what's going on with him, as would you want to sign knowing the manager who signed you will be leaving at the end of the season. We started really badly the last time his contract was coming up, and was used as a possibly reasoning behind the poor form. I'd hope he's privately assured the senoir players that he's here to stay.

I fully believe there's an offer on the table and Moyes has been waiting to see how the transfer window goes, ie not selling anyone he doesn't want too, and getting in the players he wants, before signing. I'd love it to be another 5 year contract, however I feel it will probably be a 3 year deal this time.

i think hes waiting for the man united job.

He'll be waiting a long time then, as a man who's won zilch in the top flight of English football should never be in contention to replace a man who's basically smashed the record books year on year for the best part of two decades.

Most ridiculous assertion in football.

Ferguson had never won anything in the top flight of English football either. Crazy reasoning.

Always said that this transfer window determined whether Moyes would sign a new contract or not. The way this transfer has gone i can see him signing one.

In all seriousness Moyes is lacking that extra bit of character the top bosses have. I think it'd be a mistake for him and them.
