Never paid for footy on TV. Never will. I think not going to the games will be more visibly damaging to the premier league brand.

Once they start playing games abroad, I think it will be the tipping point.

Do you think the games played abroad is inevitable? A pretty sad state if it becomes a regular occurrence.

As I have got older I have become more selective about the games I watch, never bother with any early stages of CL and, not much (if any) in the later stages either - it's all too predictable. Never normally watch international football, but have seen a couple of AFCON games as have found nothing else on. Selective over which Premier League and Championship games I bother with - depends on the teams, and type of football they play. In the last week someone on GOT suggested a Bundesliga match, which I did, it was enjoyable - open style of play and 6 goals. Will give that another go - so their is hope.

German football, especially the 2. Bundesliga and 3. Liga, is still comparatively healthy. Fortunately, there are still people in responsible positions that don't want to sell their own mother to compete with the soulless and degenerate Premier League. The refereeing is also very decent and decisions are rarely discussed while in England PGMOL arguments seem to be a national pastime. Also, fans are not yet priced out and I like the organized support a lot. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I also like Serie A as in recent years it was rather competitive and I just like the more organized style of play.

And living in Vienna I go to matches here in Austria. It's a weird league but very enjoyable spectacle.

Iv'e gone from a young lad watching everything and anything Footy wise to
Everton (obviously)
Preston (half a season) - hopefully never ever again..
International - only tournament.

Possibly a random game on in the background when making dinner..

Local non league game occasionally.

The top and bottom of the list would keep me watching..

Big decline from everything being about playing and watching..

Football as we know it is dead. VAR and "subjective decisions"... multi-club ownership... proposed games abroad.... Sports washing from oppressive governments...

Would you ever consider stopping watching?

The establishment find the traditional working class fans, as an absolute embarrassment.

Brexit voting, black pudding munching, neanderthals.

They are making the decision for us.

Non league football is the answer. Saturday 3.00pm Decide on the day which game, turn up and pay. Much cheaper. Stand where you like. Decent level of football and usually competitive.
Have never watched non-league "live" * so may give that a try - probably one of Prescot Cables, South Liverpool, or Marine.
(* Did watch some Sunday League some years ago but they seemed more interested in kicking each other than playing football - so that got binned).
