After a year mate she should be wanting to spend time with him over her mates. Not all the time but certainly want to do couple stuff. From everything said it sounds like a combination of convenience for her and hate to say it desperation from him. He wants someone enough to force himself to look past all the signs telling him he is in a bad relationship for him?

I have no problem with her and her friends doing things together, I even bought her tickets for a concert and one for her mate as well as a christmas present. She asked why I didn't want to go to which I said it will be nice to spend time with your friend. She also has a night out next week which I don't mind.

But it would be nice if we can have a holiday on our own, most couples get to do that so why can't we? It would be nice to do it rather than hear her talk about stories from previous holidays with exes or friends and here's me getting ready to go out at 7pm so we can go the kids club.
