Is anyone else worried

Wingers are so 00's , a front 5 that can interchange is far more productive.

Wingers provide little return and have by in large been replaced by wing backs.

A focal point striker is also on the way out of the game, most top teams have 3 or 4 regular goal scorers with 1 out an out striker who links well too.
Proper big boy strikers are sought after, ala Lukaku.

Agree with this in part. Wingers provide pace, they can get in behind but then what? Most can't pass for toffee. It wouldn't have helped the other night. The width needs to come from wing backs now and please no 'big man' upfront. Look at Spurs, wheres the wingers? Not needed. Sigurdson and Rooney behind an out and out striker with pace is what we need.

This window he's added Klaassen, Rooney and probably Sigurdsson to the existing Davies, Schneiderlin, Gueye, Besic, McCarthy and Barry.

It's utterly ridiculous.
And you know of those players who will still be here at the start of the season?

McCarthy might leave. Might. But that will be it.

So that means 8/9 players chasing 3 possibly 4 places.
If we stay in the EL we'll have a lot of cup games (hopefully) and if we really want to make a serious challenge for a CL spot squad depth will be important,no more so than in midfield.

I completely agree

It is madness we sold rom without a replacement being lined up.

Sadly on here anyone who sees these concerns is bullied by other fans who accuse them of getting upset. Perhaps some of us just care more and are fed up that mistakes are being made

Thursdays game was a huge alarm bell

He's said Rooney is going to play farther up the pitch, as is Sigurdsson.

So actually, that's 9 players for probably 5 spots, and really probably 7-8 as McCarthy will likely be sold and Barry might go, too. Either way, that's not odd at all.

An in return the bedwetters accuse the others of not caring.

What mistakes are being made exactly?

And why was Thursday "a huge alarm bell"?
