Is anyone else worried

Is anyone else worried about are lack of strikers at the club who can put the ball in the net?

My concern is the the board, koeman every man and his dog knew Lukaku was leaving and we have not replaced him, with a proven forward.

I know people are going to say Sandro... he has not proven yet, plus he is the only one.

Surely they would have lined someone up?
Which one would you have lined up mate?

Not overly concerned.

And they still outscored us and finished well above us. It's a team game ffs

*our ffs, can't be arsed going through all of the previous posts to see if this had been identified before, dissapointed if it hasn't been.

In a word, yes.

We've got: DCL, Lookman, Sandros. None are ' sure fire ' up front. Was happy to consider Giroud, but that seems quiet now.

Bolasie still out for a while ( and he's not as yet an out and out striker anyway ). Kev and Aaron are wide, two.big shoes to fill... with the volume of games and injury we might need 2!

Reasons to be cheerful:
  • Our net spend is peanuts
  • given the generally good business so far I'd be surprised if we haven't got deals in mind
  • Rooney can teach our young bucks a thing or two : )
Personally I'd be happy to see the absurdsson deal go away and land a stronger forward though.

Koeman doesn't play with wingers

Yeah I've been worried by this. I know ' width ' these days can mean left and right backs bombing on, but I still rate ( being over 40 ) the wily skillful types who create a lot and drag defenders around.

Di Canio was the last great winger I enjoyed watching in the Prem. But I do think our Kev, Aaron, Yannick can add here, whilst my favorite player Everton player, Coleman, returns. I think he's been brilliant at adding threat from there, especially for a right back!
