sir jeffrey saville

do you have to be a nonce to get a knighthood?

….BBC reporting a charge of ‘rape’. Two female victims. He’s contesting the charges but clearly very serious if proven. 24th April court case.

The alleged complainants identities are already in circulation, suffice to say it's even darker than it appears.

Never trust a Bible basher. The ones that shout the loudest are the ones with the most to hide.

Very sick indeed.

….i can hazard a guess who the complainants are. Be interesting if the wife is assisting with her charges.

I think we need to see the outcome first but it tells you everything about those who preach to others about life from the pulpit and Parliament.

This is the concern now, that the hardliners and headbangers use this as a pretext to derail Stormont.

As a public sector worker, it’s been great to have ministers back and there’s a sense of things maybe beginning to get done again. And now this.

A very sorry episode. Those accusations about negotiations are absolute dynamite and would have ramifications for the whole of the UK in terms of the conduct and fitness for office of its government. So those making them had best have some pretty hard evidence or they are playing an extremely dangerous game.

The hardliners and headbangers to whom you refer are a small group of extremists who will grab at any straw they feel may suit their cause. I have no idea about Jeffrey Donaldson’s reasoning for leading his party back into Stormont but my guess would be that he, and the number crunchers within the DUP, saw the boycott was a greater threat in the upcoming election than going back in. However that is speculation, what is known is that he secured the majority of his party’s support for going back in, having the government functioning again is the wish of the majority of the DUP and of the majority of people in Northern Ireland. Ben Habib, Jim Alister, Kate Hoey et al can have their say at the next General Election, let them put their argument in front of the Northern Ireland electorate and let us see what support they can garner.
