Only the most gullible of Iranians will believe any of that
As said previously, I know Iranians who want Trump to win as they see him as a possible way to topple the regime. They'd put Israel in that bracket too, I'm sure. Their country and people have been kidnapped by devilish mullah's.Only the most gullible of Iranians will believe any of that
Is that a majority view in the country and diaspora though? And do the ones you know still have relatives in Iran? The Iranians I know want the mullahs out but not if the price is the country being blown to pieces by the westAs said previously, I know Iranians who want Trump to win as they see him as a possible way to topple the regime. I think the consistent unrest, even under a brutal regime who murder and torture their own citizens without a second thought is indicative of the desire for change. Some are from ex students who were here for PG study. Some diaspora but both with either families there or business. I don't think any of them are desiring the country to be levelled but do want the regime out, even if that meant a Trump presidency and the threat that might bring - which the regime seem to understand if the reports about them hacking Trump Vance and pushing Harris. Is that a majority view in the country and diaspora though? Edit: here
He was certainly an authoritarian. His westernsising policies/efforts were undermined by his SAVAK but maybe his son might have understood where that led and how the Iran regime is playing out. That said I am not sure Iranians deserve to go from the regime back to a constitutional monarchy. It would be great to them achieve democracy. His Dad was an oppressive dictator.
Aren't there a load of US and UK jets on aircraft carriers and the like desperate to let em have it?!?!Is Iran partially defenseless? Perhaps this will slow down the tit for tat in the near term.
It is possibly the weakest position that the regime has been in since the war with Iraq.Is Iran partially defenseless? Perhaps this will slow down the tit for tat in the near term.
I’d say they are looking very vulnerable at this time. They would be foolish to carry this on now with Israel. If they do, then they will end up getting bummed. Is Iran partially defenseless? Perhaps this will slow down the tit for tat in the near term.
Hearing that they have lost a few anti aircraft batteries which if true will be hard to replace by Russia as they are needy at the moment. Although the last attack was muted it seems Iran are open to a more severve attack in the near future. It is possibly the weakest position that the regime has been in since the war with Iraq.
Misplayed their hand it seems as proxies are quietly being dismantled.I’d say they are looking very vulnerable at this time. They would be foolish to carry this on now with Israel. If they do, then they will end up getting bummed.
