Im referring to her calling it a "reckless move"...

Reckless is attacking a US embassy over several days. Stupidity is then flaunting it by showing yourself with the leader of the attack...linking you to the attack (which was obvious anyway but just confirms you are provoking war).

This was a bold calculated risk.. to do nothing would be weakness and to do this shows strength.

The only worry is that the Americans dont know what covert attacks the iranians will make next.

So youre asking if Congress should be convened and allies notified when there is a chance to take out an enemy combatant (which is what they were) without any risk to civilian life?

They took the opportunity and they got him!

It was the targeted assassination of the leading general of a sovereign state. It is not the equivalent of bin Laden or Al-Baghdadi.

Yes, the relevant committees of Congress or, at least, the majority and minority leaders should have been notified.

Whilst this is not good, it's not justification for his killing. I honestly am ignorant of the man and what I have read today paints a grim picture of him. Killing someone like this at this particular moment in time is a big question that needs answering.

The Middle East had long been a problem. I just hope for all the innocent people in the region and further afield that this doesn't backfire.

you're making a lot of assumptions here.
You're assuming she doesn't think attacking the US embassy was reckless.
You're also assuming she sees this attack as a sign of weakness, which she never said.
She called the US attack reckless, which, given that there was no communication with the gang of eight but Eric Trump with his no security clearance was tweeting about it, could indeed be considered reckless.

If you orchestrate an attack on a US Embassy then that is an attack on US soil it's as simple as that, expect a response if you do.

This really...it’s just over 40 years since the Iranian ‘students’ occupied the US Embassy in Iran...the Iranians absolutely embarrassed Carter to the extent of holding up the flight of hostages out of the country until Reagan became President. They only respect force.....

Anyone would think on reading this that the fault for this whole state of affairs didn’t rest with the US themselves. Walk away from a deal the US signed up to and thus sort of thing is what happens.

Main issue with this is while Soleimani was a piece of crap, what the US have essentially done here is thrown the aforementioned piece of crap at a fan, with the potential of covering everyone in it. If even Israel deemed assassinating him too risky and unpredictable suggests that Trump may have created a flashpoint for WW3 here.
