Initial 10, then reduced to 6 + 2 Point Deductions

For some reason AI cant generate Leo or BMD, no idea why I asked for pope Leo and Margot outside BMD but ended up with Margot and Francis outside Goodison.. Is having a dead pope in the room a dealbreaker? Dead pope just lying there or living pope getting involved? #slightlyofftopic
I mean all the dead popes are up there watching us anyway so might as well have one in the room.

ANYWAY, yeah in conclusion I don't think City will get a 115 point deduction.

Seeing this 60 point rumour pop up more and more on socials now, got me thinking, even a 60 point deduction is a bit disproportionate to what we got.
Over 100 charges or whatever, even if they’re only guilty of ½ of them that’s 50+ so averaging just over 1 point penalty for each guilty charge?
I meant even if ¼ of them are considered equal to ours, that should be 25 at a 5 point average.

They should’ve getting enough points deducted to put them in League 1.

Don't forget that we got screwed over the Icelandic player. IIRC, we were advised not to play him by the PL. I may be wrong, I'm sure someone can confirm. We paid him in full and lost out on a transfer fee as well. That alone would have covered the £19 million PSR breach. After all that, he wasn't even charged yet other teams played (and paid) people who were eventually charged with rape.
Not to mention HE "self reported" because he was being blackmailed by somone who said she was over 18. Aaaaand then the Arsenal lad, who is now charged, was accused and Arsenal had no issue playing him still. Again...sporting advantage.

They should just be prohibited from playing in the Premier League for 10 years.

Void their points immediately and give them a 10-year ban.

Simple. 19 other clubs in the division would be in favour of that.

One of the reasons this hasn’t been as well briefed by the PL or put into the public domain is this wasn’t a tribunal or independent comitte

Chelsea and the PL negotiated a settlement and then put it in front of a committee to sign off.

Let’s just let that sink in for a bit. They sat in a room and decided on a fine between them. Yet the talk of exemplary cooperation? I’d be compliant in a process where I get to pick my own punishment

Talk about cooking up a scam and an organisation unfit to govern itself.
The exemplary cooperation is just plain due diligence that every new owner does. EPL is institutionaly corrupt. We at Everton should remind the world at every game how corrupt they are.

Every day is a school day. I never knew that he self reported and was being blackmailed. The points penalty for us stinks more and more each day.

I think the fans of 19 other clubs would be in favour of it. There are at least 5 current Sly clubs that would vote against, meaning it would block that action.

I think we all know that they will be found not guilty, as the PL does not have enough money to fight them in court for years.

A lot of people are shouting “self referral” and “compliance” on Chelsea’s part, however that’s the bare minimum. If they hadn’t disclosed it, they’re on the wrong side of law when it comes to an acquisition of a business and their duties of directors.

This idea that they’re some sort of separate ownership group too also doesn’t stand. It’s the same football club, a continuing trading entity etc. They’ve been massively helped out here by a flawed system and inadequate rules, which I’m pretty sure Everton will try and prove
Not to mention they only self reported after being fingered in the Cyprus papers

Been fighting them in court for over 6 years now.

There is no way they would cause City to be relegated, they dare not. Add to that will we see Chelsea get points taken off them ?

People seem to forget that the PL is now part of the entertainment business and not really pure sport.
There is no way the international TV companies, Sky included, having paid £billions, allowing one of the main TV draws, in City, being relegated as that would damage the revenue stream.

Chelsea got let off and City will get some token nonsense as punishment. Everything will be glossed over and we move on.

There is nothing fair or equitable about it as certain teams get treated differently and again from a global audience perspective that is the successful model. The money doesn’t want change.

These teams will spend a fortune this summer. Take whatever players they want from other teams and it will be exactly the same in August as it has been for years.

I so wish it was different but just can’t see it being different.
