Initial 10, then reduced to 6 + 2 Point Deductions

ANYWAY, yeah in conclusion I don't think City will get a 115 point deduction.
I hear a lot of rumors and suggestions today that they’ll be deducted 60pts this season and therefore relegated however it’s all guesswork. And of course then there’s appeals.

I reckon they’ll get whatever punishment that’s doled out suspended and we’ll remain the whipping boys for PSR rules-of-old.

Can't see them docking City points after letting Chelsea off with effectively zero punishment. They aren't called the Sky 6 for no reason.

Any punishment will be theoretical, i.e "suspended".

The Chelsea non-punishment is entirely designed to set expectations so people are less shocked when Man City invariably avoid a points deduction, in the hope people won't talk as much about the flagrant corruption of it all.

The Chelsea non-punishment has nothing to do with City imo, its because they are a rich sky6 club and one of those that threatened the super league(no real punishment for that either)

And a 10 point deduction for us for being Everton.

Newcastle have sold St James’s Park to themselves turning a big financial loss into a very big £133 mill profit. PSR has a punishment ended when we and Forest were made an example of.

As much as i keep telling myself I shouldn’t care anymore and our issues are behind us, this stuff is really boiling my piss.

It’s absolutely disgraceful seeing what happened to us only to have to watch all of this unfold subsequently. Where’s this gov appointed oversight and why isn’t Masters and Co being strung up by their testicles from the lampposts outside their London offices.

Genuinely think if not for Fan engagement and some good luck, the club would be gone by now if they had had their way.

To be fair we probably have been at it as well in terms of the sale of Goodison and women’s team mate, I’d expect that to turn up in our accounts.

What really annoys me about this is that Villa, Newcastle and Chelsea have used these loopholes to gain a sporting advantage, Newcastle are reporting a £133 profit without the sake us a significant loss, asset sales and players swaps have enabled Chelsea, Newcastle and Villa to have an artificial sporting advantage loopholes circumventing the rules.

UEFA don’t allow these loopholes and it notable Chelsea and Villa have been sanctioned under FFP. Newcastle will be if they get Europe.

These loopholes holes holes are closed under SCR next season - but more will be found - the clubs are clever then the PL - except us under Moshiri.

As much as our punishment was grossly unfair you look at the various PSR workarounds that clubs like Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea and even subsequently us have found relatively easily and you have to question how hard our finance / legal people even tried to avoid breaching, or did they just lack the wherewithal?

We were scapegoats, that’s obvious, but we blundered straight into it. If we’d been a bit more clever there were moves that could’ve been made, but I don’t think we took it seriously enough until it was too late.

It was s combination of arrogance and incompetence in my opinion mate - still I think in the context of punishments dished out to Forest and more recently Chelsea, I think we can still be agrevied with how punishments were weighed and applied.

That clubs have gained a sporting advantage and in Chelsea and Newcastles cases trophy’s and with Villa, CL football through spending enabled loopholes is difficult to swallow. Maybe we should admire their competence, but there does also seem to be an injustice in equity of applying the rules or maybe rather thresholds of tolerances from club to club.
