I thought it was worse than that and that the FA cancelled his player registration and we were advised to sack him.
No thought given to “innocent until proved guilty” and we did the right thing by the player but the PL saw that as insufficient mitigation…we know the rest.

Thanks. You are probably right. I had it at the back of my mind that we followed guidance and got screwed as a result. This point alone proves the anti Everton agenda from the PL.
