I'm already looking forward to next season.

We dont have to compete with Spurs and Citeh. They have to compete with us!!!!

Nah, I agree, the injuries we've had are freaky - but for some strange reason its happened to a lot of clubs (Arsenal, Man Utd, Citeh) - so I can see it being a major factor next season.

We dont even have to spend a kings ransom either to boost the squad. And there are also some good loans we could get hold of.

Maybe I'd like more planning and plan B's over next season. Yes, we are limited with are resources and funds but as long as we're not standing with our dicks in the wind, frustrating the fan base and kicking off a new season with no new/fit players, I'll be happy. The season will good. Although maybe not as open as this years - which was there for the taking IMO.

Europe on the horizon again, i'm confident of at least 6th place and anything above will be a massive bonus.

But next season, i'm already looking forward to it. Yakubu and Arteta will be back in September, hopefully we will have had a good enough run to make sure we ease them slightly. But surely we cannot have the same bad luck with injuries as we had this season?

Another factor is letting Vaughan, Fellaini, Cahill, Saha and co have a pre season under their belt. It will be good to see Fellaini and Cahill have a proper pre season, assuming nothing goes wrong.

I'm confident, although i'm not expecting much in the summer in terms of funds, that Moyes can work some magic. I just really hope he cements that 6th position and then puts some more concentration into bringing in players early this time. If we're able to bring in maybe 2 players in that adds up to around the 10 million mark aswell as Moyes working his magic and bringing in a couple of frees and a few loanees, then we'll be able to compete again in the top 6.

I concur. Spurs and City may spend gazzillions, and have the midtalbe version of Los Galacticos, but we will have the main parts of a team that just finished 5th/6th in the league, with our 3 most important players, who all missed large parts of this season, back, and players like Saha, Felliani, Rodwell and Gosling steeping up a level and better settled in.

Even without any new signings, which tbh i am expecting, I think we should be able to challenge for 4th place. We may not get it, but i think we should push whoever does even closer than this year.

I'm talking about my original post.

I'm not arsed, but i found it hard to reply to it.

Soz.
