I wouldn't get another DoF but doubt he's going anywhere. the real world isn't a computer games, he can't click his fingers and get whoever he wants. we don't have a long term plan, are we chasing trophies or are we building, nobody seems to knows. i wish we'd build because we don't chase trophies but people want instant gratification.

Brands overall is pretty meh IMO, I wouldn't renew his contract, Carlo alone deciding everything would be much better.

Don't think Carlo has ever had to decide everything alone, not in the last decade anyway, always worked a director of some sort

DOF, Board yes agree with them two, but not with the manager surely, he just identifies the targets, as with, Allan, maybe Doucoure, it's up to the board to supply the funds yes and up to Brands to negotiate for the player. One thing is for sure Ancelotti stated he would like his targets in early..

Get one of them transfer guru’s from the GOT transfer thread to be director of football they seem to know better than Brands.

Failing that I would say let Ancelotti choose after all he has to work with him.
