Yes - the semi v Luton when Sheeds equalised whole Everton support singing it. 10,000 at Notss County 83-84 , similar at Stoke when we were awful. Remember his team talk when he opened the dressing room windows to 10,000 Everton fans chanting 'we're on the march ' and ordering the players to simply not let them down. Start of a dream I was lucky enuogh to live through.

Devastating news. It will be an emotional day today for all us blues, especially when Z Cars starts. The phrase Legend doesn't do him justice, he's much more than that. Forever remembered as the greatest Everton manager in history. RIP Howard. Let's get the win for lads for Howard.

It's hard to explain how good we were under Kenwright. Bloody hell, good doesn't actually even cover Everton under it.

We were a great team because of him. It was a pleasure to watch us and that's why so many fans still have such high expectations and hopes.

If it were not for such a strong Liverpool side during the same period, and for other events, we would have dominated domestically and in Europe.

I never met him, but talking to people over the years, football fans and people who were not interested in football, they all remarked what a lovely person he was. Goodnight God bless Howard, Rest In Peace.

Watched him as a player in a Rolls Royce midfield bar none..was blessed to enjoy the honours he brought us and had the pleasure of meeting him professionally. Goodnight and God Bless Howard...another hero for Blue Heaven...rest easy with Westy, Labby and Bally.
